Ownership for the goods transfer when we have been paid in full and delivery as taken place.
You the customer are responsible for inspecting goods on delivery, any damage should be recorded on the delivery note. You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery, should you wish to inform us of damaged, defective or missing goods or delivery discrepancies.
Under the distance selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on our website, excluding installed equipment. To cancel your order you must notify us within seven days following day of delivery. Please check your order carefully, If you wish to return goods, you must call for a returns note, goods will only be accepted with a returns note.The product must be returned within seven days of us receiving your cancellation with the original packaging. The goods must be returned in an unused and resalable condition. You are responsible for the safe cost of carriage back to us. You are recommended that goods returned are suitably insured to ensure that you may recover full value should the product be lost or damaged on its return.
The price you pay is the price displayed, all prices + vat, occasionally errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order. Whilst all descriptions and illustrations provided are carefully prepared they are intended for general guidance only and do not form part of any contract. Prices are per item unless stated.
We make every effort to deliver goods as soon as possible, delays are occasionally inevitable and time of delivery will not be of the essence.
We will not be liable for any business loss including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a result of the purchase of goods from us. We are happy to supply our Terms and Conditions in full if requested.
Please be aware that distance selling regulations do not apply to business customers.
These conditions are subject to English law and jurisdiction of the English courts.
Back orders will generally be despatched the same day as we receive in stock, items will be sent out with no further carriage charge.
RETURNS - STANDARD ITEMS
Requests by you to return catalogue goods supplied by us may be accepted, at our discretion, subject to a handling charge. The goods must be;
i The goods are unused and are a standard item listed in the current Fluid Fittings Catalogue.
ii A GOODS RETURN NUMBER is obtained by contacting us and is included with the goods returned.
iii All returns should be adequately packaged and clearly labelled including returns note number as follows "CUSTOMER RETURNS (RETURNS NOTE NUMBER), PIPE FITTINGS DIRECT, 9 Heather Drive, Woodlands Park, Bedworth, Warks, CV12 0AT" Credits agreed will only be issued when the items are received by us in good condition.
Handling charges will be advised to you prior to a goods return number being issued. Goods returned to us without prior agreement may be returned to you, for which standard delivery charges will be applied. All goods returned without a returns numbers will always be subject to a handling charge of £25.00 or 25% of the value of the goods, whichever is the greater. Items returned with a returns note that were correctly supplied but not required may be subject to a restocking fee of £12.00, the initial delivery charge will not be credited.
RETURNS – NON STANDARD ITEMS
Items not listed in the current Fluid Fittings catalogue will not be accepted for return for any reason whatsoever. 6.4 metre lengths are special order and cannot be returned unless special arrangement is made.
Back orders for items not listed in the current Fluid Fittings catalogue can not be cancelled for any reason whatsoever. Cancellation of back orders for other items may be accepted providing that a variation to our standard pricing was not agreed based on the volume to be delivered. In this case cancellation will only be accepted if the standard sales price is to be charged on the quantity delivered. Requests to cancel an order for an ex-stock item can normally only be accommodated before the order is packaged, usually one hour of the original order being received. Orders cancelled after this time may be subject to a returns handling charge. Once an order is shipped from us is in process, we are unable to either amend or cancel the request.
